I can't even begin to explain how awesome it was to imagine how our wedding might turn out -- our invites, the favors, my dress, table decorations - everything!
Our amazing photographer captured all of these elements (as well as all of our beautiful guests) with her stunning images.
As in life, how we got here is what makes each moment so beautiful, so first take a look at these elements in the making...
The Invitations:
Vintage sheet music, cut to size.
Hand-cut linoleum block, 2 impressions.
Hand-set lead type, 18pt Liberty & 10pt Goudy, 1 impression.
FiberMark Touche paper
with hand-set type, 1 impression on back.
top & bottom edges of both sheet music & cardstock sewn together.
The Dress:
2 layers of silk charmeuse, 1 layer of silk chiffon
piece together from 2 Vogue patterns, braid detail at seam.

Favors for the family:
Silk hankies sewn with a scallop edge, trimmed
hand-printed with word LOVE
Favors for the guests:
Chicks & bees were given through
Heifer International, so to commemorate this, I made pom-pom chicks & bees out of yarn & pipe cleaner. :)
And of course, the wonderful mess while all of this was happening :)
